Foundation Stage
1. The sole purpose of investment-portfolio investment companies is the management of a securities portfolio (art.1§1n.1969 / 1991). That is, they are not allowed to engage in any other activity, even secondarily.
2. The I.P.C as public limited companies are subject to the institution of management partnership in their establishment. The relevant decision is issued by the Minister of Commerce, but a necessary condition for its adoption is the prior granting of an operating license by the Commission of the Capital Market
Article 1 working time limits (art.4 ν.2874/2000):
Chapter1. For conventional hours up to 40 hours the possibility of working 5 extra hours per week as overtime. Remuneration of 5 hours with a surcharge of 25% on the hourly wage paid. They are not included in the limits of permitted overtime. For a 6-day overtime system, there are 8 extra hours per week. Is pre-approval required?
Chapter2, 3 Overtime work: more than 45 (or 48) hours. For each hour of legal overtime (up to 120 per year) increase of 50% on the paid hourly wage. Is pre-approval required?
Legal overtime over 120 hours per year - 75% surcharge Pre-approval required.
1) What is a Cyprus International Trust
Cyprus International Trusts which are governed by the "International Trusts Law, 1992" are defined under this law as trusts in respect of which:
(a) the settlor is not a permanent resident in the Republic
(b) at least one of the trustees for the time being is, during the whole duration of the trust, a permanent resident in the Republic
(c)no beneficiary other than a charitable institution is a permanent resident of the Republic
(d) the trust property does not include any immovable property situated in the Republic International Trusts and the Tax aspect...
The following short memo provides minimum info about the visa and work permit process in Greece.
Treaties existing between Greece and the country of nationality of the traveler govern whether a visa is required. An entry visa for Greece is not required for citizens of the European Union Member States. All travelers should contact the appropriate office well in advance of their scheduled trip in order to ensure proper visa processing.
