The authorities responsible for hygiene control in establishments in application of Reg (EC) No. 852/2004, as well as for the issuing of certificates, are the Rural Economy and Veterinary Offices of the Regional Units or the regional offices of the Hellenic Food Authority under whose jurisdiction the establishments belong.
